Apple Butter Pork Loin

Reviewed on Nov. 16, 2008 by Patti
This was sooooooo good. It was so juicy, moist and flavorful. The apple butter sauce is to die for - will double it next time so we can just dip the pork as we eat it instead of just spreading it on top. I highly recommend this one. Only thing I did differently was to cook it for 1 hour, then spread the apple butter and only cooked for 30 min more. Mine were done perfectly. 3 hours seems a bit much to me. I might even brown them first next time as they do look a bit anemic (they have that poached look) from being covered the whole time. Thanks for this wonderful recipe UMich97!!

Old-Fashioned Cheese Potatoes

Reviewed on Nov. 16, 2008 by Patti
These were good, however just a bit too american cheesy for me - next time I will use cheddar or something else. But I do like the use of a roux to make the sauce for the potatoes.

Pumpkin Crumb Cake

Reviewed on Nov. 15, 2008 by Patti
Very tasty - made as is except used splenda. Only thing I will do different next time is reduce the amount of butter in the crust by a couple tablespoons.
