About me:
I'm married to Daniel and mother to Patrick. On the side, I teach private violin lessons. I developed an interest in Irish baking a few years back when I visited Northern Ireland. I learned to love Nambarrie tea and thus, wanted to learn the art of having tea. In the process, I developed a love of scones and have since mastered (through many failed attempts) the art of scone making.

Old Fashioned Apple Dumplings

Reviewed on Sep. 30, 2008 by Ashley
This recipe was fantastic! I make my own pie crusts and I used cut up apples instead of whole ones. I also sprinkled white sugar on top right before baking. It turned out delicious and I will definetly make it again and again! BRAVO!

Savory Crescent Chicken

Reviewed on Sep. 22, 2008 by Tammie O.
THIS WAS INCREDIBLE!! It was super easy and all five kids and their finicky pallets loved it. I did not use the pomiento's and seasoned the chicken a little with basil, mrs dash, and dill before adding it to the mixture. Other than that and increasing the servings to feed 8 instead of 4 - it was perfect. I was hoping to have some leftover to take to work for lunch but that surely didn't happen. Thanks so much!!
