Albondigas Soup II

This recipe is really good. It didn't state it in the recipe, but I added about a teaspoon of salt to the meatball mixture because everyone knows you have to add salt to your protein or else it will be bland. I substituted dry bread crumbs and also doubled the amount because they felt too soggy and wouldn't hold their shape. To reduce some of the fat, I baked the meatballs on a cooling rack so the fat could drip onto a cookie sheet for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees F. I did everything else according to the recipe and I added 1 pound of dry red kidney beans as a bit of a filler.

Baked Beans, Texas Ranger

I always drain the pork and beans when making baked beans, so this was not soupy for me at all. I didn't have the sausage but my family loves this recipe. I am use to ketchup/mustard/brown sugar baked beans so this was a new refreshing way to eat them. I will be making these again and again. Thanks for the recipe.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

I have found paradise and this is it! Loved the pizza. Since I am all about bleu cheese, I added some bleu cheese crumbles on top of the dressing. Next time, I will add more hot sauce. The amount listed in the recipe was not quite enough for me. Very good, thanks for sharing!

I grew up with these being served for our school lunches!! I didn't know if anyone outside of small-town Iowa had ever heard of them until my BF (whose from Minnesota) talked about them one day..weiner winks must be a school cafeteria staple!

Minnesota Pork Chops

These were very good. I cooked some onions in garlic in a little olive oil and put these on top of the chops before covering with the soup. I also sprinkled the chops with Thyme. Turned out great.
